We are so appreciative for all the support towards our capital campaign project to make The Wing a reality!
The Wing: A Place for Teens & Young Adults
The Wing provides a dedicated space on the Erin's House property for teens and young adults aged 14 to 25 to explore grief and find peer support, separate from Erin’s House children’s programs. As one teen said, "You can't mix someone who's 14-years-old with someone who's five—they need to be cared for in different ways."
The Wing includes a quiet room, three counseling rooms, and a large hang-out area for sharing memories and supporting one another. With 29% more program space, The Wing offers free grief support services, extending Erin’s House’s reach from children ages 3 to 18 up to young adults age 25. Programs at The Wing for teens 14 to 18 are already thriving, while young adult programs for ages 19 to 25 will begin in Spring 2026.
With rising mental health challenges among teens and young adults in Northeast Indiana, The Wing provides a safe, welcoming space where participants can focus on grief, coping, and building connections.
