Hear From Our Volunteers:

“This is the happiest sad place ever and if you have a kind, caring, and compassionate heart this could become your favorite place to volunteer! I’ve built amazing relationships and friendships with staff and families.”

– Magz W.

Volunteer since 2012

“I’m not there to fix someone’s grief. But I can provide some tools and help start a conversation that hopefully leads to a better understanding of how to move forward.”

– Stephanny S.

Volunteer since 2023

“Sure, we’re the adults who are facilitating, but the kids are the ones doing the work.  Sometimes with words.  Sometimes with art.  A lot of times with play. Erin’s House is not a sad place like many think.”

– Todd F.

Volunteer since 2021, 1995-1998

“For those interested in volunteering, know that Erin’s House is an amazing opportunity to help others. Despite being a grief center, we have a lot of fun with the kids!”

– Amy D.

Volunteer since 2015

“I was nervous about volunteering at first, but volunteers are well supported when working at Erin's House. The training teaches you how to work with people in groups. I’ve been able to make connections with other volunteers and group participants that mean so much to me.”

– Jackson
