• 2 evenings per month

  • Commit to at least 1 year of volunteering

  • 22-hour training (over 4-5 evenings or weekends)

  • Co-facilitate small groups

  • Lead activities (games & crafts and assist in clean-up of room after group time)



  • Must be at least 16 years old and care about children

  • Be able to sit on a cushion on the floor

  • Work as a team member

  • Agree to criminal background check prior to assuming duties

  • Be able to work in a confidential environment

Time Commitment:

  • Evening Program Peer-Support Groups: 6:00 P.M. (check-in) – 9:00 P.M. (debrief) every other week on a designated night (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday)

  • Ready to commit to at least 1 year of volunteering

  • Attend 22-hour training class (over 4-5 evenings or weekends)

  • Attend 2 continuing education presentations (1 hour each) every year

Day 2:
Sunday, January 26
1:00 - 5:00 P.M.


Pick two of the following dates for your practice nights:
January 27, 28; February 3, 4, 5, 6, 10, 11
6:00 - 9:15 P.M. each night
(Sign-ups for practice nights will take place on training Day 2)


Closing Session: 
Thursday, February 13
6:00 - 9:00 P.M.
