Basics:​​

Volunteer Babysitters entertain children under the age of three during program with available toys, books, and crafts
-
Babysitting during program is available 6:15 P.M. to 7:30 P.M., Monday through Thursday
-
Minimum of four (4) evenings in one (1) year
-
No training needed! Jump right in and learn from seasoned volunteers and staff

Qualifications:​​

As of May 1, 2025: Must be at least 16 years old with a desire to work with young children (no present guardian necessary)

Able to engage children in age-appropriate play and activities
-
Experience with children (babysitting, childcare, siblings, etc.) preferred but not required
-
Agree to a background check prior to assuming duties
-
Be trustworthy working in a confidential environment
-
Must have consistent and reliable transportation method​

Time Commitment:​​

About one and a half (1.5) hours on designated evening peer-support group nights (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday)
-
Minimum of four (4) evenings in one (1) year
