Due to the current pandemic, our annual Common Bond fundraiser will be taking on a new look! We're switching from breakfast to dinner and from indoors to outdoors — this event at Parkview Field will be the first of its kind for the venue and for Erin's House.

The health and safety of our guests is our priority. Following federal and state guidelines, we are working closely with Parkview Field to ensure proper procedures are being followed. Your group (up to 4 guests) will be seated together, but with ample space between you and the next group of attendees, as we practice social distancing throughout the stadium. Groups larger than 4 will be divided into smaller groups but seated in close proximity to one another.

Erin’s House welcomes Roberto Clemente Jr. as our 2020 Common Bond keynote speaker.

Roberto Clemente Jr. is a father, husband, philanthropist, entrepreneur and former professional baseball player and broadcaster whose father was the first Latin American player to compile 3,000 hits in MLB history.

After his father’s death in a 1972 plane crash while taking relief supplies to Nicaragua earthquake victims, Roberto Jr. became the spokesperson for the family and has continued to carry on many of his father’s traditions, including playing professional baseball for the Philadelphia Phillies, San Diego Padres and Baltimore Orioles.

Erin’s House invites you to join us as Roberto Clemente Jr. shares his unique life as a Clemente — from the impact of his father’s untimely death to how he carries on the family legacy today.

Son of Pittsburgh Pirates baseball legend, Roberto Clemente.

Percussionist | Teaching Artist | Facilitator

And a special performance by Josh Robinson Drums.

"Drumming can be used as a tool to teach an array of life skills. It provides a positive and creative outlet for young people to express themselves and release their emotions in a safe space. I often refer to the drum as my “trash truck” and “most reliable friend” where I can release or dump out emotions and energy created from the many challenges life presents.

I am grateful for the opportunity to live my passion and help others along the way. The work we are doing here together (and I mean the whole village) is changing lives, saving lives, and empowering kids who are dealing with challenges they inherited. We can’t always give them answers, but we can give them love, hope, and tools to rise above their circumstances and become the best versions of themselves they can be."
