COVID-19 | Updates & Resources

July 13, 2020

Since going virtual, Erin’s House hasn't been the same without the weekly smell of pizza, board games being played, and the sounds that come from our volcano room. While we could go on and on about these changes, we recognize that our Erin’s House families know more than most what it means to readjust after life throws you something unexpected. Creating a new "normal" is never easy but it's exactly what many of us are doing now.

With that being said, we want to share our plans for Erin’s House program; understanding that given current pandemic circumstances, things could change based on our community and the needs accessed by the CDC and state/local government. We did not venture into this decision lightly, and we are fortunate to have expert board members and friends of Erin’s House advise us along the way.

It has been decided for the remainder of 2020 that all Erin's House programming will be virtual.

While we realize this decision may disappoint or maybe even relieve some of you, we hope that you realize safety is our number one priority during this time.

So, what does this mean for our new “normal” program night?

Families may attend our virtual Zoom groups on their assigned night starting in September. We will maintain families' regular program nights of the week. Scheduled times will be varied depending on the ages of the children.

We are so grateful for each and every one of our supporters. Our community has brought Erin’s House through adversity in the past and we know that we can count on you in the future. What we have learned from our 26 years of experience serving grieving families is that the power of holding a safe space for difficult experiences and feelings can bring about transformation. As always, Erin’s House will be here in the aftermath of this pandemic to provide hope and healing locally and nationally.

While our in-office hours vary due to limited staff, you can reach our team during regular office hours (Monday-Friday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM) the following ways:
