VOLUNTEER AT
CAMP GOOD GRIEF

CAMP GOOD GRIEF 2019

A 3-day, 2-night camp for ages 8 through 13.

DATES: August 16th, 17th, & 18th

LOCATION: Camp Crosley in North Webster, IN

REQUIRED PRE-CAMP MEETING: July 30th from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. at Erin’s House

Are you okay with being present to another person’s pain without trying to take the pain away? Are you comfortable listening with the heart without analyzing with the head? Are you able to walk alongside someone on their journey without leading? Do you love being outdoors and having fun?

If you answered "Yes!", then we would love to have you as a volunteer at Camp Good Grief!

Volunteer positions include:

  • Full-Time Facilitator: Spend the entire weekend with us facilitating groups.

  • Daytime Activities Help: We're looking for assistance for all day Saturday to lead stations throughout the day, and help set up and tear down activities.

  • Bunk Buddy (Sleep Chaperone): Can't commit to the whole weekend? You can come up Friday evening and/or Saturday evening to help chaperone our evening bunk time.

Full-Time Facilitators, Daytime Activities Help, and Bunk Buddies will be expected to attend the REQUIRED
pre-camp meeting on Tuesday, July 30th from 5
:00 - 8:00 P.M. At this pre-camp meeting, volunteers and families will learn the overall structure and theme of camp. Full-Time Facilitators will then break off into their camp groups with their co-facilitators and assigned campers.
